Eye Surgery Considerations

[Clinic A] review

I am absolutely not a broker. As someone who had surgery when the doctor was at [Clinic B], I am leaving a genuinely honest review. At the first consultation, they measured the preliminary design with a ruler, marked points on my eyes, and consulted while explaining the measurements. They designed both sides and adjusted them two or three times. But claims in some reviews such as “the consultation alone took 20–30 minutes” are absolutely untrue lol. The non-incisional double-eyelid surgery takes less than 30 minutes, so what doctor would spend 30 minutes on the consultation? The surgeries afterward would obviously be delayed, so I think that claim should be taken with a grain of salt. The consultation took about seven minutes. The doctor looked rushed, as if they would have to leave if it went on longer, so I felt awkward asking more questions What was also a little disappointing was that they looked too busy on the day of surgery, so I could not communicate enough It took about an hour from arriving until seeing the director. Because I wanted to be careful, I asked them to redo the design twice, but they said it in a way that suggested surgery would be difficult if I did that, which felt uncomfortable. Since it was revision surgery, I thought they would spend about ten minutes on the design. The atmosphere felt different from the consultation, when they had been fairly kind, so I even considered canceling the surgery that day. Still, I went through with it somehow, and I am quite satisfied because they created a very pretty crease and made the suture marks neat. They clearly have skill and aesthetic sense. I think the result would be much better if they took more time and interest during consultation, which is what I found disappointing about this doctor.
