Nose Surgery Reviews

Revision rhinoplasty with autologous fat

Seven years ago, I underwent revision rhinoplasty with autologous fat performed by Dr. Baek Hyeong-ik. The silicone was just about to perforate through the nasal tip, and the skin at the tip had already become completely worn down, so I needed surgery immediately. There was also inflammation around the silicone supporting the nasal tip. The doctor said silicone could be inserted again, but the probability of the inflammation recurring would be high. I was also fed up with the whole situation, so I simply chose autologous fat. Fat was harvested from my buttock, but the buttock was more uncomfortable than my nose. The surgery went well and looked natural. Although the silicone was removed from the nasal tip, the doctor raised it as much as possible using cartilage, so the shape actually looks prettier than before. However, because there is no silicone at all, my nose looks somewhat flat in photos, but the height turned out similar enough that no one can tell I had rhinoplasty. Seven years later, the bridge has actually become lower, but perhaps because the tip position is well maintained, my nose looks even prettier. I am satisfied!!
