[Clinic A] Plastic Surgery: crooked nose correction and deviated septum, 2.5-month surgery review

While deliberating over rhinoplasty, my top priority was preserving my original nose shape and overall impression as much as possible rather than radically changing my nose. My nose was slightly crooked, so my main goal was correcting the crookedness, not making it higher or more glamorous for cosmetic reasons. At every consultation, I said I didn’t want my impression to change much, wanted to preserve my original nose as much as possible, and wanted a natural result. I consulted several clinics, and the surgical direction proposed by the doctor at [Clinic A] matched my wishes best. When I said naturalness was most important, the doctor suggested correcting the crooked part while preserving the current shape rather than automatically raising or dramatically changing the nose, and I really liked that. The materials were another major factor. Some clinics recommended rib cartilage, but only here did they say I wouldn’t need it in my case. I also preferred not to use rib cartilage if possible, so this strongly influenced my choice. The surgery used septal cartilage and ear cartilage. The cost was honestly not cheap, but matching my desired surgical direction mattered more than the price. Since they wouldn’t change my nose in an unwanted direction or use rib cartilage unnecessarily, I decided to have surgery here. The postoperative period was more emotionally difficult than expected. From the first time I saw my nose after surgery, the swelling was severe, and even when the splint was removed a week later, a lot of swelling remained. At first I really thought it was ruined. My nose also looked very upturned, which made me depressed and worried enough to wonder whether I had surgery for no reason. But around the two-week mark, the swelling began to drop dramatically. From then on, my nose suddenly looked much more natural, and before a month had passed, it was so natural that people around me wouldn’t know I had surgery unless I told them. That was exactly the feeling I wanted, so my satisfaction became much greater than my worry. The doctor had warned me during consultation that even surgery cannot guarantee a crooked nose will be corrected 100% perfectly. To my eyes, the crookedness is much improved compared with before, although a very slight curve remains. Since the swelling has not completely subsided, I think I need to wait a little longer to know accurately. For now, I’m very satisfied. What I like most is that my original facial impression was preserved while my nose became a little straighter and more refined. It turned out so natural that sometimes I even think I should have asked for it to be slightly higher haha. Still, I originally wanted a natural change, not a nose that obviously looked surgically altered, and the result seems to match that direction very well. I was extremely worried at first because of the swelling, but watching it become more natural over time makes me think I made the right decision. If you want to correct a crooked nose naturally while preserving your existing face and impression as much as possible, I highly recommend [Clinic A]...
