Nose Surgery Reviews

Two weeks after revision rhinoplasty with donor rib cartilage at [Clinic A]

Before surgery, my nose was originally small, low, and short. I had undergone several previous operations using septal and ear cartilage. After the last surgery, my nose only became longer, the bridge was too high and prominent, and it looked overly operated on, while the tip was still short, flat, blunt, and spread out. I strongly wanted a more glamorous look. This was a clinic I visited through a friend's introduction. I had jaw surgery three months ago, and the doctor at that clinic said I needed to wait at least three months, then told me to wait one more month, so I had surgery this time and am now two weeks out. They said the inside of my nose had collapsed, become more spread out, and turned upward because of the jaw surgery. Since the inside of my nose was weak, they recommended autologous costal cartilage. But autologous rib cartilage felt a bit... Even after jaw surgery, autologous rib cartilage still scares me a little. I also disliked the idea of a scar, so I decided to use donor rib cartilage. They said that because my facial asymmetry is fairly severe, a glamorous nose like the one I want could make the asymmetry more noticeable. Still, I asked them to make it as high and glamorous as possible. Around one week after surgery, it was so itchy that I scratched it and the splint fell off. The director scolded me and talked as if it were his own work, saying the nose shape could change. Since I swell quite a lot, he told me to keep the splint firmly attached. I did, and when it was removed this time, my nose had become huge. I like the height, but it seems too large, and the area between my eyebrows seems higher than expected. The clinic said it would gradually become lower. I probably have quite a lot of swelling, so I am drinking pumpkin juice, having swelling-reducing tea, and walking.
