Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

Two months into jaw correction (nine months total)

This is my review after nine months of orthodontics and two months of jaw correction. I initially started orthodontic treatment because the bite of one set of molars did not fit well. After expanding the dental arch, I am now undergoing full jaw correction. My jaw was originally shifted slightly to the right, but about two months after starting jaw correction, I can clearly feel that it has moved much farther to the left, which is fascinating. In particular, my right molars now feel as if they touch each other more than before, so I can feel my bite gradually aligning. The appliance made my speech slightly awkward at first, but I have now adapted without much inconvenience in daily life. Since treatment is still ongoing, I am looking forward to seeing how my jaw position and bite change further!
