Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Leaving a review of my bulbous nose surgery.

It has been about 4 months since the surgery. At first, I wasn’t planning to have surgery. The reason was that I was reluctant because I was afraid it would be obvious to anyone that I had nose surgery, like the commonly mentioned “Gangnam beauty” or someone who looks overly plastic. But early this year, two of my older sisters had nose surgery at this clinic, and it seemed to turn out much better than expected, so from then on I became interested and decided that I should get nose surgery too.  My nasal bridge was low and my nasal tip/alar area was spread out, so my face looked a bit broad and flat. So usually, even when friends asked to take photos together, I would deliberately wear a mask or not take photos at all. Once, I had an opportunity for a blind date, and I was shocked because I heard afterward that people called me what is commonly said as a “mask fraud.”  I had the consultation around March this year.  As expected, the consultation was about my nasal bridge and bulbous nasal tip/alar area. They said they would raise the bridge appropriately to make the face look more three-dimensional, and raise the nasal tip so attention would not go to my mouth area. After hearing that, I asked, “Could I possibly look like actor Lee Jae-hoon?” but they said, “That would not look natural on your face. Your appearance will look much better if the nose is made to suit your own face.” To be honest, even though my sisters had surgery here, I thought it would be good to look into other clinics too, so I went to consultations at four or five places, but in the end, this clinic’s consultation felt the most trustworthy and convincing.   The surgery was done under sedation anesthesia, so there was no pain. The day after surgery, I went to the clinic for disinfection, and on day 5, the stitches were removed. After the stitches were removed, I had a follow-up a week later, and another follow-up within a month. When there was swelling at first, I thought a lot, “Is this right..?” because I looked uglier than expected.  But after about 3 weeks, the swelling went down a lot and my nose definitely seemed to have turned out natural, so my confidence in my appearance increased a lot.  Seeing that the director made my nose look natural, exactly as discussed in the consultation, made me very grateful. I have several friends around me with unattractive noses, and after the surgery, I often recommend this clinic to them.  That is all. (The photo was taken right away while writing this post.)
