My lower face had a lot of issues before and after too, but one year ago, I don’t know what I was thinking, I only went ahead with surgery on my cheekbones, which were my biggest concern. I wanted a straight cheekbone line, and I emphasized that a lot even before surgery. It looked bumpy, so I took photos and sent them, and they said it was swelling. Even when I went for my 3-month follow-up, they said it was swelling. I completely believed them when they said it was swelling, because contouring surgery is such a long fight with swelling. My side line showed no sign of becoming straight, and my cheekbones somehow looked asymmetrical, and it wasn’t the line I wanted at all. I clearly had surgery, but what is this? It feels like there’s no effectㅡㅡ I held out for a year, but I felt like I couldn’t go on like this and had a strong feeling I needed revision surgery, so I went to another hospital for a revision consultation. I heard something interestingㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ Nonunion of one cheekbone~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I didn’t have any pain, but what is this nonunion situation~ When the doctor said, “There is space in the cheekbone too, so why did they operate like this...” my expression really went rotten. I instinctively felt that I would have to lie on the operating table once again... ha~ Since I was doing it anyway, I said I wanted my face to become properly smaller, and added square jaw and chin tip surgery. When looking at my front-view face, I had chin asymmetry and it was on the wide side, so I personally thought I was a difficult case. I brought photos showing exactly what I wanted and explained everything properly, and among the hospitals I consulted, this one felt like they understood and grasped what I was saying the best? They explained things clearly and precisely, just like I do, so I chose that hospital. I’m now 6 months post-op. This was the face shape I wanted~~~~ I’m very, very satisfied right now.
Cheekbones (revision surgery) Square jaw + chin tip (first surgery)
The before photos were taken at the hospital where I had my first cheekbone surgery, at the 6-month follow-up (bare face). The after photos were taken 6 months after the 3-part contouring surgery (BB cream + hair wax). The additional care I did was removing all the moles on my face and managing my hairstyle (down perm + guile cut).
