I’m scheduled to have revision rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage soon at ㅇㅌ But a lot of people say the area where the rib cartilage was harvested hurts a lot... As for the nose, I’ve actually had surgery once before, so I roughly know what the pain is like, but it’s my first time with costal cartilage, so I can’t gauge how much it will hurt; They say it can be hard enough just to get up after lying down, ha ㅋㅋㅋ I know how to manage swelling in the nose, but do I need to do any separate care for the autologous costal cartilage incision site too?

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
