BeforeAfterAfter I had been thinking about rhinoplasty since 10 years ago, so since then I had gone around getting so~~~~ many consultations. Even back then I couldn't work up the courage and didn't do it, and in the end time passed again. Through a friend's recommendation, I ended up having a consultation at Ovly Plastic Surgery, and this time I also had consultations at several places, but after consulting with Director Kim Da-alm, I thought, ah, this is the place. He was very kind and explained things in great detail, so right after the consultation I felt I should do it here. Actually, before the consultation, I visited the blog run by the director, and it explained rhinoplasty in detail very well, so my trust had already increased after seeing that.
People around me often told me that I would look so pretty if I just did the nasal tip, so at first I looked into only doing the nasal tip. But after the consultation, they said my nose has thick skin and is bulbous, so it isn't an easy nose. They also said that for there to be a cosmetic effect, osteotomy would be needed rather than just the nasal tip, so I decided on osteotomy and nasal tip surgery (using ear cartilage and septal cartilage).
It was my first cosmetic surgery, so I was really nervous. My friend said with sedation anesthesia I could just sleep and wake up… But during sedation anesthesia, because I wasn't breathing, I woke up in the middle and had the surgery under local anesthesia ㅠㅠ There really wasn't much pain, just a sour stinging sensation for about a day the next day, and my ear hurt more than I expected haha
The director said that in a case like my nose, the effect wouldn't show right away and that after 6 months the nose would settle into shape. But after 1 month, I think the shape has settled quite a bit, and my side profile has definitely changed, so I'm very satisfied. From the start, I wanted something natural rather than artificial, so I highly recommend it to people who want natural-looking rhinoplasty!! It's truly so natural that people around me don't notice at all hehehehe It's still only 1 month, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it settles after 6 months.
One thing I was disappointed about was that I was also planning to do under-eye fat repositioning, but there was a communication issue in the middle, so I couldn't have that surgery together ㅠㅠ I feel it would have looked much more different if I had done that too, which is a shame, but next time I'll get it from Director Kim Da-alm as well and post a review!!
