I went around diligently for consultations before the Lunar New Year holiday. At ㅁㅂ, where I went through an acquaintance’s recommendation, they said they only do cosmetic rhinoplasty, so I immediately turned around. The second place I visited was ㄹ&ㅈ, and unlike their ads, they also said they don’t do rhinitis nose surgery. I figured there must be a reason they don’t do them at the same time, so I looked it up on YouTube, and there were a lot of videos saying it’s a sales tactic and that whether it’s rhinitis surgery or cosmetic surgery, you should only do one at a time~ㅜ But I don’t have time, and my rhinitis is really severe right now, so lastly I went to ㅂ, where they said an ENT doctor provides consultations. First of all, the director and staff were, how should I put it, soullessly kind? Their voices were kind, but their expressions were blunt. Dr. ㄱㄱㅈ was similar, but he did explain the functional aspects of the nose well. However, I was shocked by the wickedly high surgery cost, so I think I’ll have to pass.
Putting it all together, as I saw on YouTube, I think I’ll have to do rhinitis separately and cosmetic surgery separately. Rhinitis surgery is covered by health insurance, so the cost isn’t that high, but if you do it at a plastic surgery clinic, they say it can’t be processed as covered care. They kept checking my indemnity insurance several times, but these days there are many cases where indemnity insurance doesn’t pay out due to excessive claims, so I’ll need to be careful!
