Review of double-eyelid surgery + medial canthoplasty at [Clinic A]

Non-incisional double-eyelid surgery + medial canthoplasty <under 3 weeks post-op> 1. No pain at all 2. The medial canthoplasty area occasionally itches (it does not interfere with daily life at all) 3. The swelling dropped steadily after day 7, so daily activities are no problem 4. The bruise on the right eyelid area is slow to fade (it is not very noticeable when my eyes are open)

First of all, the doctor is truly like my second father. When I went for the consultation and had the line designed, I actually wondered whether I should do it and did not really like it. But that was because I have strong epicanthal folds and could not visualize the line until the medial canthoplasty was actually done!!! (My eye condition: complete monolids + no experience with eyelid glue or tape + strong epicanthal folds + thick skin + good eyelid-opening strength + narrow distance between eyes and eyebrows + short eyes >> The eyes I wanted: a clearly visible in-out line, longer-looking eyes, and the most visible line possible while remaining natural ^^)

The result is unbelievably successful. Around me, 90% opposed it because they liked my monolids too, but after seeing the result, everyone says they regret their past selves for trying to stop me lol. Even I regret not doing it sooner.

If the line you want is like what you saw in the reviews, definitely get a consultation. The doctor has a good aesthetic sense, is kind, diagnoses the eyes properly without any overtreatment, and explains the maximum possible approach for achieving the eyes you want. During the actual surgery, the doctor also had me open my eyes three times at intervals to check.

The only disappointing thing is that I was told medial canthoplasty could leave a scar, but I was not given much information about aftercare. Even so!!! I highly recommend it. The consultant and nurses were all kind~~ I hope everyone succeeds with their double-eyelid surgery,, ❤️ (One tip, or not quite a tip: clearly explain what kind of eyes you want! If that is not possible, be sure to say what style you absolutely do not want.)

Oh, and it turned out more harmoniously and beautifully in person than in photos, but it is a shame that the photos do not capture it. I did not have much swelling, and from day 7, when the stitches were removed, I could fully return to daily life (I did not even wear thick glasses~). Makeup was possible from the second week, and everyone kept saying they looked completely like my own eyes hehe
