First of all, my first surgery was at the end of February last year, and of course there was a cosmetic purpose,, but improving my complex was my top priority. My nose was not originally low, and it was not so bad that it looked unpleasant…
As a result, the first surgery failed, ha,, I also developed inflammation., I will write about that separately in detail...
Anyway!! After arguing with the clinic where I had my first surgery for about 8 months, I was so stressed both time-wise and mentally that I decided on revision surgery ㅠ
For my first surgery, I had visited a lot of clinics and chose very carefully, you know? But it failed,, so this time I just did some online research in a community and went for a consultation at a place that had as many reviews as possible from people with symptoms similar to mine, then immediately paid the deposit. That was the clinic!
During my first surgery, I had a hump correction, asymmetry correction, nasal tip surgery, and alar reduction. But they did not correct the asymmetry and only raised the nasal tip, so from the front, the columella was shifted to the right. In November, inflammation developed around the silicone on the nasal bridge, but the clinic did not manage it properly, so a capsule formed around the inflammation, making my nasal bridge completely bulky. Because of the swelling, my nasal bridge was bumpy like a hump. (Refer to the pre-surgery photos)
To say the conclusion of the revision surgery,,, it is not a 100% satisfying nose, but my complex has really improved by about 90% ㅠㅠㅠ..
The improved points are the asymmetry of the nasal bridge and columella!! The columellar asymmetry is not perfectly centered in a straight line, but from the front, it is hard to tell that it is asymmetric. So I am just going to be satisfied and live with it…
It is sad ㅠ Why is perfect symmetry not possible..
And!! There is something I want to tell everyone who has not had nose surgery yet. Please absolutely do not do alar reduction during your first surgery ㅠㅠ.. Raise the nasal tip first and then decide.. Even if the alar base is a bit wide, there are many pretty noses if the nasal tip is high,. I truly regret this the most.. My nostrils were not even that wide ㅠㅠ At the first plastic surgery clinic, they just said, “If you do this, it will look prettier~ If you do that, it will look prettier~” so I just added it on.. ㅠㅠ Now I have so little nostril/alar width that I look slightly like an alien.
