I had been constantly stressed because my nostril wings were huge and very asymmetrical, so I finally got alar reduction. I searched through an app, looked around for places with lots of reviews, and after the consultation I immediately booked surgery and even paid the deposit lol. Thinking about it now, I think I was way too brave.
I originally went in thinking of an internal incision, but they said an internal approach couldn’t correct my nasal asymmetry, so I ended up doing an external incision. Since my nostril wings are on the rounder side, I accepted it when they said the scar wouldn’t be very noticeable.
It’s only day 2, and other than some throbbing, it doesn’t really hurt. But it pulls a bit when I chew, so eating porridge feels easier on my stomach. I want to get the stitches removed soon.
