My surgery is less than a week away now, so I’ll share my clinic-shopping review
I think I went for consultations almost two months ago I did online research for about a week? At that time, I didn’t even know about this community yet, so I may have made my list after reading broker posts here and there..
Since the surgical methods and prices would all be different anyway, I’ll write mainly about the overall feeling When making the list, I chose places that seemed to prefer natural-looking, safe surgery
1. Anyang ㄷㅌㄹㅁ This was the first place I visited because I trusted them a lot after watching YouTube From the opening of the private clinic to the early videos and posts they uploaded, I related to them a lot and felt trust. The consultant was very kind, and the director also explained things well. They took a CT scan and did virtual plastic surgery with a program, but since it looked like artificial skin placed over my bone structure, it felt a bit awkward. According to the consultant, the director creates the simulation to the extent that it can actually be achieved after surgery, so she said the result usually comes out almost similar to the simulation. (There was a consultation fee and CT scan fee, and they gave a discount if you wrote a Naver review)
2. Apgujeong ㅇㄷㅇㅇㅇ I went because they said they do surgery safely and naturally, and most reviews said they tell you honestly and without exaggeration when something cannot be done. Even during the actual consultation, they went as far as saying they actually think surgery for cosmetic purposes does not have to be done. The director does not give off a particularly warm image, but during the consultation he explained well and answered questions well. And what I liked most was that because he pursues a natural degree of change, he clearly pointed out the limitations and possible side effects after surgery. Since I will proceed without an implant, he said there was nothing to worry about in terms of side effects unless I later applied a major impact to my nose, like getting punched, so I felt reassured for no reason and liked that. Also, this place’s特徴 is that they proceed under local anesthesia and do not put cotton packing in after surgery.
3. Apgujeong ㅋㅇ I think the director here was very cheerful, and during the consultation, the director personally took photos and edited them in Photoshop while proceeding with the consultation. So it was nice because I could clearly see how I would look. The consultant and the director both made the clinic feel very kind and gentle. During the consultation, the director’s previous surgery ran late, so there was some waiting time, and because they were sorry, they did not charge a separate consultation fee!
4. Gangnam ㅁㅌ I went because they said they operate on the nasal tip only with a columellar strut and aim for a natural result, but among the places I visited, this director was the most blunt. During the consultation, he looked so tired and cut off my questions, so I was a little taken aback. I don’t think the consultation lasted even 5 minutes. Oh, and among the places I visited, this was the only one that said I needed silicone.
5. Gangnam ㄷㄹ(ㅏㅡ) I think this is one of the places people who really want a natural surgery should definitely consult at. The director was so kind, and while looking at my CT images, he consulted while considering my facial asymmetry, overall proportions, my subjective thoughts, and so on. If I had to pick only consultation satisfaction among the five places, this place is No. 1. And among the places I visited, they seemed to pursue the safest method plus natural beauty the most!!
