From the reviews, it seems like a lot of people are worried about cartilage showing at the tip of the nose. This is my second revision, and I’m planning to remove the silicone and only do an ear cartilage columellar strut and alar cartilage tying at the nasal tip. Could cartilage visibility still happen with such a minimal procedure?
Skin tends to get thinner as you get older, and my skin is already on the thin side, so I want to exclude anything that could cause side effects in this second revision if possible ㅠㅠ
Since a cartilage mosaic graft at the nasal tip (stacking ear cartilage) seems like it could make cartilage visibility at the tip a concern, I’m thinking of not lifting the tip very much and just shaping the tip naturally to match my nose bridge after the silicone is removed.
I’d like to hear from people about what kinds of cases usually lead to cartilage visibility at the tip and what experiences others have with this issue.
