I got a consultation at Jeongseok Plastic Surgery for revision surgery for a crooked nasal tip and crooked columella. This is a hospital that takes CT scans, and the consultation was conducted while looking at the CT images and the materials showing the expected appearance after surgery. That part felt systematic, which I liked. But because my face itself is asymmetrical, they said it would be impossible to correct it perfectly. Rather than setting the columella upright as one single support, they explained that they split the ear cartilage and the original septal cartilage into several pieces and spread them out to support it so that it would look as uncurved as possible. I understand it in theory, but honestly I am a little skeptical about how much less crooked it will actually look. The explanation was detailed, but I still do not know for sure whether I can trust the result.
