I had a consultation for functional nose + cosmetic nose at Kobijoo Clinic, and the consultation was based on the premise that surgery for rhinitis / inferior turbinate reduction and correction of a deviated septum would basically be included. I was also considering correction of a crooked nose and an aesthetic line, so I had consultations at several hospitals, and while many of the other places suggested using silicone implants for the bridge, here they explained that because the bridge is not extremely low, instead of raising the entire bridge with an implant, they would fill only the lower parts with autologous tissue, and for the tip they would mainly use septal cartilage, reinforcing with ear cartilage if needed. For the crooked nose, they talked about straightening the axis through osteotomy of the bridge, and I was told the AS period is as long as 3 years, so I felt secure in terms of aftercare. The point that using autologous tissue may lower the risk of inflammation compared with silicone also seemed like an advantage, but on the other hand, the overall flow of the consultation felt a bit like "the explanation is mostly the same direction everywhere," and the doctor had a very firm standard and style, so I also got the impression that this part could divide opinions depending on the person.
