What I’m most satisfied with after Jelly Nose is that my face naturally gained more definition!! Before surgery, my face felt a little flat, but after Jelly Nose, the nose line was refined without looking excessively high or upturned like a ski-jump nose, and my overall impression feels much clearer too hehe. People around me also said my vibe changed and that I look more refined, and because it feels like a naturally prettier change rather than something obviously noticeable, I’m even more satisfied hehe.
What changed the most of all is taking photos. Before, I was self-conscious about my side profile, so I would only take front-facing photos or deliberately avoid side shots, but now I actually like my side line, so I naturally end up taking a lot more side-profile photos too. I feel more confident when taking pictures than before, and I like it from multiple angles, so I think it was a good choice!!
The burden of surgery was also much less than I expected. During the consultation, I got an explanation about non-open rhinoplasty and went ahead, and once I actually experienced it, the recovery process was easier than I thought. My nose wasn’t packed with gauze and I didn’t have a splint on, so I hardly felt any stuffiness, and daily life wasn’t very inconvenient either. Recovery was also faster than I expected, so for me it felt much easier than I thought hehe.
As time passed, the shape of my nose gradually settled more naturally, and now that it’s been 7 months, my satisfaction feels even higher! At first I thought I’d be happy with even a small change, but now every time I look in the mirror, it feels like the overall balance of my face has improved, so I’m satisfied hehe.
I would really recommend this to people like me who have a dorsal hump and want to just slightly refine the front part, or to those who want to keep a natural mood like their original nose rather than an overly high one while just neatly refining the line. I think it especially suits people who want a change that doesn’t look so dramatic that others immediately think they had surgery, but instead gives the feeling of “you look prettier somehow.” I’m satisfied with the result, and the recovery process was much easier than I expected, so if I chose again, I would get the same surgery. I definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a natural change!!!
