The nose I had surgery on before was short and upturned, and the pinched tip made the nostrils look artificial, so I was under a huge amount of stress. On top of that, the crooked nose and the feeling of a fleshy nose were still there, so I think I just really wanted to stop stressing over my nose any more. I went to 11 clinics because I wanted this to truly be my last surgery.
Looking back now, I’m glad that when choosing the clinic, the director didn’t just look at the photos I wanted and say he would make it exactly the same. At the time I was very worried because it was a revision rhinoplasty, so I kept asking questions, but thanks to the detailed explanations, I actually felt more at ease when going into surgery. As more time passed, I started checking my nose itself much less these days haha. Before, whenever I looked at my face, I checked the nose first, but now I’m so used to it that things like my hair or makeup stand out first.
From the front, the center line looks straighter than before, so my face looks neater, and when I turn slightly to the side, the tip line stays natural, so I like that it is not a nose that only looks good from one angle haha. Rather than feeling flashy like “I really had my nose done!”, it feels like it suits my face as if it had always been there, while the overall impression has become more refined, so I’m more satisfied as time goes by.
Going to 11 places was really exhausting and hard, but looking back, I think that process helped me find a director who suited me well. I feel like this is truly the end now, and that gives me the most peace of mind and satisfaction ♥️
