Nose Surgery Reviews

Crooked nose, please take a look at my re-re-revision with autologous costal cartilage!!

Hello, it’s been one month since my third rhinoplasty revision at XO Plastic Surgery on July 4!!! What do you think of the line?!! My biggest worry as time passed after my nose surgery was that my nose seemed to get more and more crooked It looked worse in photos than in the mirror, which stressed me out a lot People might not notice, but to me my nose kept looking tilted to one side, so I lost confidence both when smiling and when taking selfies. I’d heard so often that revision surgery is harder than the first surgery, so I worried about it for a long time. In particular, after hearing that autologous costal cartilage would be needed, I was very afraid of the surgery But during my consultation with Director Park Chan-young at XO, he explained my current nose condition and the direction for improvement in detail, and I felt reassured by the fact that he places the greatest importance on natural results! Above all, the main reason I chose the clinic was that it has a lot of experience correcting crooked noses.!! The surgery used autologous costal cartilage and ear cartilage to correct the bridge, the tip, the crooked nose, and the arrow nose all at once. Right after surgery, breathing was really difficult because of the splint and nasal packing, and the area where the rib cartilage was harvested was more uncomfortable than I expected because I had to wear a support belt. Sleeping properly was hard, and the facial swelling was severe, so for the first few days I even thought, when will this get better.. Still, the moment the splint came off a week later, the first thing I noticed was that my nose looked straight and upright!. There was still a lot of swelling, so my nose looked high and awkward, but just having the crooked feeling that bothered me most disappear was such a relief The most satisfying part after surgery is when I take photos. Before, I was very conscious of whether my nose would look crooked from any angle, but now my face looks much more balanced overall, so taking photos has become easier I’m still recovering, so there’s some minor swelling left, but I’m looking forward to it becoming even more natural as time goes on~!!! Revision rhinoplasty really is the best at XO
