I first had fat grafting, then lost weight and ended up with uneven breasts, so I eventually got implants. At first I gave up because of the cost of breast surgery, but I guess it turned into a sunk cost, haha. Because I’m genuinely so satisfied with the implants!! I really should have done augmentation surgery sooner haha But I was scared of general anesthesia, so I looked into it a lot and had tissue-preserving augmentation at Grace. They did it under sleep anesthesia, and the implant is placed inside the ligaments around the breast, so they said there’s no need to worry about bottoming out! My right inframammary fold had been lower, so that kind of detail mattered to me haha The director paid attention to the lower-breast design and also placed different volumes on the left and right to keep them balanced, but it’s still hard to tell because of the swelling. The shape is pretty and the feel is somehow nice too haha And the implant is Mentor X; it felt good to the touch during the consultation, so I’m really excited to see how it feels once the tissues soften!
