Breast Surgery Reviews

It's been 36 days since I had my breast implant removal surgery at Fore

✅ Movement and pain In fact, the pain was not severe even right after surgery. Still, for the first day or two, there was quite a bit of pain when lying down or getting up, but it did not interfere with daily life at all. Now, 36 days later, I am doing very well in daily life, with no issues at all except that I feel some discomfort when doing movements like stretching my arms overhead in yoga or moving around the chest area, especially movements that stretch the underarm area. (+I am still keeping tape on my underarms, so when the tape rubs against the skin, the stinging is unavoidable.) ✅ Underarm incision scar The doctor personally changes and manages the tape for my underarm scar every two weeks. I saw that scars from people who had surgery at Fore were almost invisible, and I think that is because they take such good care of postoperative management as well. I also really like being able to keep in communication with Dr. Kim Min-young, who performed the surgery. And for about a month I had tape on, so I could not check it directly, but after a month when I removed all the tape and took a shower, I checked the scar myself and it is healing well without any raised scar tissue. In a previous surgery, the scar on my right underarm was raised, so I also had scar revision done at the same time, and I am hoping the right underarm scar will keep improving compared with before. Wanting it to disappear completely would be greedy, but I hope it leaves as little trace as possible. I had the removal surgery because I ultimately wanted to return to my original healthy body, so I also wanted to leave as little surgical scarring as possible, and I was glad that, like my previous surgery, it could be done through an underarm incision without leaving any extra scars or scars near the chest. ✅ Hospital location Since I have to visit the hospital every two weeks, the fact that it is only about a 5-minute walk from Sinnonhyeon Station is a big advantage for me as someone who needs to go regularly. ✅ Special note As a special note, when I was only getting the implant removal, the doctor said it would be better to do adhesion release as well, but I did not do it because of the cost, and fluid collected in my left breast. So 3 weeks after the removal surgery, the fluid was drawn out with a syringe! Still, it was a relief that it could be removed simply with a syringe. -------------- There are so many hospitals out there, and I only had a consultation at Fore and then had surgery the very next day after the consultation, so I was a little worried. But I am so glad I had the surgery at Fore that I feel like I worried for nothing! After the removal surgery, I am very satisfied with being free of implant-related worries and foreign-body discomfort, with better sleep quality and more comfort during exercise movements, and so on. I used to regret my breast surgery a lot, so I wish I had gathered up the courage to have the removal surgery sooner. Since it is a major surgery, I hope everyone makes careful decisions, and if you do go through with it, I recommend Fore.
