I had my first nose surgery 10 years ago. I was worried about the hollow in the center of my face, so I raised the bridge, but it only looked unnaturally high, and people around me said I looked like an avatar. It was upsetting to hear that after spending money, but I didn’t have the confidence to go through that hardship again, so I just lived with it. But as time went on, the area between the silicone and the nasal tip cartilage started to look sunken, and the nasal tip dropped so my nose looked longer and longer. I hated walking past places with bright lighting to the point that it became unbearable. That’s when I started looking into it again and went to It’s B for a consultation through a trusted acquaintance’s introduction. I went to consult three times, and every time they looked at me carefully without any sign of annoyance. After feeling the nasal bridge, they said the unevenness might be an early sign of inflammation, and that the forehead filler may have dissolved, making the glabella area appear higher. Honestly, hearing that made me depressed, but the fact that they didn’t hide the bad news actually made me trust them more. We decided to rebuild the support with autologous costal cartilage, remove the filler, and lower the glabella. Since it was an old nose and there was a lot to clean up inside, I heard the surgery took quite a while, but I took that as meaning they were being thorough. Right after surgery, the director told me in advance that the bridge might look a bit uneven at first, but as the swelling went down it really became noticeably smooth.
