I had seen a lot of people say the waiting time would be long, so I was worried, but I booked with the head doctor and went. As soon as the manager’s consultation started, I was asked, “What’s your budget?” When I said I was thinking in the 2 million won range, they said there was no way I could get surgery with the head doctor at that price and introduced me to another doctor,, I had specifically come to choose a doctor, so I was confused;;; And then the manager started saying they might make a double eyelid crease with a stick and that a front epicanthoplasty might be needed, or that it would have to be done by incision. They aren’t a doctor, so it felt really weird. I switched to another doctor and waited about 30 minutes?? Luckily the doctor looked at me carefully and said I’d probably only need incision without any other procedure! I liked that they pointed out only the procedures I actually needed. They took photos before the consultation and discussed them with me, so it felt thorough. Then I went back to the manager consultation, got the incision price, and they said if it had been the head doctor it would have been 1.5 million won more, and that the head doctor is skilled and all that in this field, which is why the price is higher,, but I hadn’t even gotten a consultation with the head doctor, so I felt like, what am I supposed to do with that The doctor’s consultation was fine, but the amount was much higher than I expected, and the manager’s response didn’t feel good either, so I’m planning to visit other hospitals too.
