From the beginning, I wasn’t thinking about making a huge change. In fact, I was more worried about something being too obvious, so I wanted to preserve the strengths of my body shape and just change the overall balance a little. After thinking it over, I had a consultation for Motiva at Grace, and it felt less like they were simply deciding the size and more like they were looking at my body type and the style I wanted together, which made it easier to decide. Before the surgery, of course, I was also worried about the recovery process and the discomfort, but once it was over, I could feel my body adapting as time passed. The parts that had felt awkward whenever I moved at first gradually became more comfortable, and as my daily routine naturally returned to normal, I even wondered if I had been worrying for nothing! What I personally like most is that it doesn’t feel like only one specific area changed, but rather that my overall body shape looks more organized than before. I tried wearing the clothes I usually like to wear again, and even though it was the same clothes as before, it felt different, so I’m finding a lot of satisfaction in those small changes. More than anything, what I wanted was not a change that would make it obvious to anyone that I had surgery, but a natural improvement in the overall balance, and I feel like that was reflected well now, so I’m satisfied. Seeing it become even more natural as time goes by makes me think I did well to compare enough and think it through before deciding
