Post-op Day 2 Review

Everyone kept asking which hospital I had surgery at, and I understand that desperate feeling so well, so I’m writing the surgery review quickly. I had it done at ㅇㄱㅈㅇㅇㅂ. Overall, it was good. The director was thorough, and even more kind during surgery than during the consultation. The operating-room nurses, the manager, and the front-desk staff were all kind and made me feel comfortable. There are negative review posts here too, and there aren’t many reviews, and there were also rumors about brokers, so I was very worried because I had been to consult twice and it was quiet. I was worried that they might not do many removal surgeries here. But in the end, I thought the director would pay the most attention to aesthetics, so my daughter chose this place. During the consultation, they suggested a plan where, even while removing things, they would still take care to shape it as much as possible. They suggested, only here, a plan to leave a small amount at the lower part of the septal support to help compensate for the columella depression, and my daughter liked that. We removed the silicone, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage. My original nose had a slightly sunken columella, so they left a small amount only at the lower part of the existing septal support and corrected just the columella depression. When they showed the removal photos after surgery, they said they had seen the area that needed to be filled in during surgery and reinforced it with ear cartilage (using the existing material). I had scar tissue on the columella from my first surgery, and they removed that too. (This wasn’t something they had originally mentioned, but they took care of it on their own. People often say this place is unfriendly, but at another clinic, when I asked the manager during consultation whether they could remove the columella scar tissue, they treated me like I was being overly particular.) They also gave a very thorough consultation right before surgery. I was under sedation, but they only put me to sleep for the first 10 minutes and performed the rest while I was awake. It wasn’t especially difficult or anything. There was almost no pain after surgery, and they didn’t use nasal packing or a splint, only taping and gauze under the nose. There was only a very small amount of bleeding on the first day. There wasn’t much swelling on the day of surgery, but today it swelled a bit. They said it would swell more over the next two days. Right now my daughter is peaceful. My daughter likes it. As for the shape, because we also reduced the nostrils from the first surgery, it isn’t a completely original nose, but it feels like it became a third kind of nose, similar to my natural one. And I was worried because there weren’t many reviews for this clinic, so I thought they might not do many removal surgeries. After surgery yesterday and today, while visiting for dressing changes over two days, I saw three patients coming in for removal surgery and follow-up. It seems like they do quite a lot of surgeries.
