Nose Surgery Reviews

I had revision surgery for upturned nose

At Reali Plastic Surgery, I had revision nose surgery to correct an upturned nose with Director Lee Jun-hee, the sole full-time surgeon, and it has been about a month since the operation!! I had my first nose surgery before, but over time contracture developed and my upturned nose, which kept lifting more and more, started to bother me, and I also didn’t like the shape of the tip, so I decided on revision surgery. I heard a lot that revision nose surgery is much more difficult than the first surgery, so I searched for a hospital for a really long time and went to consultations at several places, and in the end I chose Director Lee Jun-hee at Reali Plastic Surgery. It may not be famous, but they say the latercomers work harder, right? The surgery I had was a revision nose surgery using donated rib cartilage, silicone, and autologous cartilage together!!! Because it was a revision surgery, they had to consider not just height but the overall balance and even the direction of the tip, and during the consultation the director examined my nose condition very carefully and explained one by one why each material was being used, which made me trust them a lot. What I liked most was the one-doctor-only system. It didn’t feel like a factory-style hospital where consultation is rushed and then over; from the first consultation to the surgery and follow-up checks, the same director personally took care of everything, so I felt much more at ease and like more attention was being paid to my nose. I could ask questions comfortably, and they checked even the small details carefully, so I was very satisfied. And the part I personally liked the most was that after surgery they used a silicone sheet inside my nose instead of packing it with cotton. At the hospital where I had my first surgery, they stuffed my nose completely with cotton, and I really couldn’t breathe at all, so I remember the recovery period being harder than the surgery itself At night I could only breathe through my mouth, so my throat hurt so badly and I couldn’t sleep properly, and it got so suffocating that it almost felt like I was having a panic attack In contrast, this time they used a silicone sheet, so I could breathe through my nose to some extent and the recovery process was much more comfortable. Of course I was swollen and uncomfortable right after surgery, but because I didn’t have that suffocating feeling from not being able to breathe, it was nothing like the first surgery. Experiencing it myself, the difference was really huge. They say cotton causes a panic-like feeling, right? There were even people who said that if they had known they would put cotton in the nose, they would never have had nose surgery Of course, me too.. It’s been about a month since the surgery now, and although there is still some residual swelling, the upturned part has improved a lot and the overall nose line has become much more natural, so I’m satisfied every time I look in the mirror. If you’re considering revision nose surgery, I hope you’ll definitely take the hospital system and the recovery process after surgery into account. I was especially satisfied that the sole full-time director personally took responsibility and cared for me from start to finish, and that the recovery method used a silicone sheet instead of cotton inside the nose, and I’m satisfied with the progress so far!! Once the swelling goes down more, the line will become even prettier, right? I’m looking forward to it Ah, and I was surprised that I didn’t bruise after surgery When I had my first surgery and even when I had a simple InMode treatment, I bruised a lot, so I thought I would bruise a lot this time too, but I only had yellow bruising for about 5 days and no real bruising at all, so I thought, ah, they really didn’t overdo it, they worked quickly and smoothly, and because the skill is good, I guess I didn’t bruise either Contracture is unavoidable, so if it happens again, I’ll go to Director Jun-hee for revision surgery again. I ended up talking way too much while writing this
