Hello! I came to leave a 1-year review after having midface reduction with Director Oh Myung-joon at O&:) It feels like I only recently studied and looked up information on YouTube before surgery, but a whole year has already passed I looked around and searched for things on this community, but there don’t seem to be many reviews about midface reduction here, so since I’m here I’ll leave my review. First, as you can see from the photos before surgery, not only the side cheekbones but also the front cheekbones were protruding a lot From the front, my midface was very long and uneven, and whenever I looked in the mirror or took photos, my face contour stood out so much that it hurt my self-esteem At first I tried lifting, but it didn’t help, so I decided I had to do contouring. While watching YouTube, I came across midface reduction surgery through the algorithm, and at that moment I somehow thought, this is it! lol It was an unfamiliar surgery, so I worried a lot, but I went to get a consultation first. The moment I met the director, I felt he had a very strong confidence in the surgical method. He explained the procedure in great detail and confidently said the difference before and after would be big for my face shape, so I decided to have surgery (It really was confidence backed by results) On the day of surgery, everything went by so quickly and in a blur. I woke up after anesthesia. The director had scared me by saying it would hurt a lot, but it didn’t seem that bad... However, the swelling was worse than I expected, and the only hard parts were the process of the swelling going down and going to the hospital to get injections. From 6 months, I started thinking the swelling was going down a lot, and although I still need to keep managing it consistently, the difference before and after was honestly bigger than I expected, so I’m extremely satisfied. Now that I’m also dieting, people at work keep saying my face has gotten so small it’s going to disappear I really want to strongly recommend this to anyone with a long midface or prominent cheekbones like me! Midface reduction surgery changed my life! Thank you so much, Director Oh Myung-joon!~
