This was my first contouring surgery, and I had been thinking about contouring for over 4 years. I always got tempted, but then thought, 'It’s fine even now,' and passed on it. I had never been told my face shape was angular or anything, and since it looked a bit broad and country-like, plus I was stressed that the camera never did me justice, I ended up deciding to get surgery. I think I visited all the famous hospitals for contouring. During consultations, they all said it probably wouldn’t be very dramatic and didn’t recommend it, but I wasn’t looking for a completely different face anyway. What I wanted to improve was the side facial area, more refined contours, and smoothing out the slightly protruding cheekbone line from the 45-degree angle so my width would look a bit reduced. I mentioned those points during the ㅂㅌ consultation, and I also liked the director because the before-and-after photos and the consultation gave me a good feeling, so I had the surgery here. They say contouring surgery doesn’t hurt, so I thought it should be manageable, but as soon as the anesthesia wore off, it was so painful it felt like my face had been run over by a truck. The general anesthesia medicine made me nauseous, and the pressure pain from the face wrapping, plus urinary retention (I have weak kidneys, so after anesthesia I don’t urinate well and it lasts a long time), that was the most painful part.... The face taping was also so stuffy and itchy, and I had a lot of filler in my chin, so they dissolved all of that and also advanced it Now it’s day 11, and I can finally breathe and feel somewhat okay, so I’m writing this. On the day of surgery I had my period, and my skin is naturally thin and fair, so the right side of my face bruised and swelled a lot more... Everyone said there’s a lot of swelling. I’m taking New Vein swelling tea, and I’m not sure if it’s doing a lot, but I do feel like I’m getting a bit better day by day. Days 1-5 my face felt like jelly, which was funny and painful After 7 days it felt like a square, fierce bread loaf?? I’ll compare again after 2 weeks. Contouring was the hardest cosmetic procedure I’ve ever had, so I don’t think I can ever do it again It’s still puffy, but when it’s been a month I’ll bring another review~~~!!
