I had buried-suture double eyelid surgery about 5–6 years ago. I didn’t do any additional procedures like canthoplasty, and the cost was really cheap, somewhere in the 500,000 won range..
I don’t have much fat around my eyes, so I chose the buried-suture method instead of incision, but a little under a year later (about 10 months?), it slowly started loosening. So I went to the hospital that did the surgery and calmly complained about how unfair it felt, like, “Can it really come undone before even a year has passed?” lol Luckily, they redid the surgery for free, and now I’m living with eyes so natural that anyone would think I was born with double eyelids.
I’m not someone with a huge desire for plastic surgery, so I never dreamed I’d have eye surgery twice in my life, but thinking about it after a long time just made me laugh, so this is just me rambling~ I think it’s better not to have revision surgery~ It’s so exhausting for both the body and mind :(
