My nose is on the smaller side, but it had this bumpy, hump-like feeling, so instead of surgery I first tried procedures to fix it. In the past, I had a Hi-Co procedure. As with all procedures, at first it seems like the issue has been resolved, but the effect does not last long, and at some point my nose just felt even bumpier?? My satisfaction kept going down, and I kept wanting to improve the shape. I had a consultation at DL Plastic Surgery, and while they explained what kind of nose shape would suit my face, why ear cartilage and septal cartilage would be used, and why an implant would need to be added, I felt like the nose shape would turn out well I wanted a naturally straight-to-slightly-curved line from my own nose My nose was small and had a somewhat cramped look, but after surgery it didn’t feel like my image changed dramatically, just naturally prettier??? It felt naturally refined, and people around me often said I somehow looked prettier. In the early stage after surgery, I worried a lot about whether the tip would drop over time but now that more than 2 years have passed and the shape is still pretty and maintained, I feel relieved for now. I tend to worry a lot, but I’m living with the thought that I’m glad I had the surgery.
