I’m looking into revision surgery for a bulbous nose. For a man’s nose, if it’s revision for a bulbous nose, would autologous costal cartilage be better? My boyfriend doesn’t remember what material was used for the first surgery, but he says ribs weren’t used, so if I feel it, it doesn’t seem like donated rib cartilage either. In cases like this, I’m also curious whether donated rib cartilage or autologous rib cartilage is used more often! And when revising the columella incision scar, can it be made to heal more cleanly? It’s been quite a while, but the scar is still somewhat visible, so I guess that’s stressful for him. I’m looking at Lwell and Jaejun, and if anyone here has been there for revision surgery, I’d like to hear which doctor you went to.
