After I posted my nose surgery on my Instagram story...

The story got flooded with hearts.. Most of them were from women, of course ^^ Before my nose surgery, I hardly ever took selfies unless I used very heavy shading and dark lighting. The photos above are ones I saved before surgery, one front view and one side view, so I could compare them later, but looking at them again now is honestly serious... Even the fact that both were taken after going to a jjimjilbang, with the swelling completely gone, still makes the nose stand out clearly on my face...^^ (not exactly a compliment...) As you can guess from my pre-op concerns, my nose was fleshy and wide. My bridge was low too, and if only my bridge had been fine I would have wanted to do it without an implant, but mine was low, so I only used reviews as reference...^^ Since the bridge was going to be raised with silicone anyway (that’s usually how it goes), I paid more attention to the material for the tip. I had a lot of concerns about whether to use costal cartilage or ear cartilage/septal cartilage. I also had filler in my nose once before, and even though it had been dissolved, I felt like it hadn’t been fully dissolved, so I definitely wanted it removed during surgery!! I visited a lot of clinics in person, but I liked a place more than the ones that were often mentioned for bulbous noses. Among them, there was a place where the director explained exactly why I had to feel dissatisfied after getting filler by pointing out the original characteristics of my nose. I was so stunned for a second. I couldn’t even put that strange feeling into words, but seeing them pinpoint it so accurately made me realize experts really are different...^^ There was also another place that was a bit cheaper and had more of a factory-like vibe, and I liked the design and reviews there too, but in terms of post-op care and the hospital atmosphere, I ended up choosing the former and decided to have the surgery. I had the operation with silicone + autologous costal cartilage. Since it was my first surgery and it was the day of surgery, I was extremely nervous, starving from fasting, and really tense, but the manager kept talking to me the whole time and it reassured me. I went into the operating room with the mindset of 'if other people can do it, I can do it too!!' Then I closed my eyes and opened them again and I was on the recovery bed. Honestly, until the splint came off, it didn’t really feel real that I had had nose surgery... With the splint covering it, I could only roughly guess how much height it had, but it didn’t hit me fully. The big day of splint removal... I went in very nervous, but I was surprised that even with the swelling, it didn’t look overly artificial. The presence of the nose had clearly changed in a positive way ^^
