I had wanted to get rhinoplasty since the moment I first looked in the mirror, but I was very worried, so I spent a long time researching hospitals. In fact, there were many hospitals that seemed okay, but after looking at the review photos and seeing that The Between Plastic Surgery had the most of the natural look I was aiming for, I decided to have surgery there, and now that it has been almost two months, I want to write a review. Looking at my before photos, you could say I basically had almost no nasal bridge, and there was a sunken area between the bridge and the tip of my nose. The tip was also broad, and on top of that it was small, low, and not very attractive in shape, so I had objectively accepted that surgery would be difficult. I had prepared myself for a certain level of cost, but as expected the prices at other hospitals were similar. So rather than cost, I focused on the aesthetics and style of each hospital based on review photos and made my decision. I used a customized implant, had septoplasty as well, and used ear cartilage for the tip of the nose. Because I was not trying to raise it a lot, I did not use rib cartilage. The director said the same thing. What I wanted was definitely not a high, pointed nose. I knew that kind of nose would not suit my face... But because the columella area looked a bit tucked in from the front and side, the shape of the tip mattered more than height. And since my nasal bridge line had always been curved, I wanted a line that extended in a straighter way. These days, many people think midface length is important, but I felt my midface was actually shortened, so I wanted to extend it a little and make the tip more important. In the end, my first thought when the splint came off after surgery was that they had done their best with the nose I originally had. My columella was originally tucked in, and I really liked how they brought it out as naturally as possible without making it feel unnatural. The height also came out really naturally. By natural, I do not mean it does not show at all; I mean it became the nose that suits my face best. I did not have swelling or bruising lasting as long as other people either, and I am not sure whether that was due to my constitution or because the director is amazing, but I am certain that even if the needs had been understood and reflected at another hospital, the result could not have been more natural than this. If you have already decided to get rhinoplasty, I think it is important to look at many review photos that reflect the doctor's aesthetic sense rather than focusing on cost, and above all to understand exactly what nose shape you want. I had almost no side effects, and I think getting this result was lucky, but clearly knowing the nose shape I wanted by each area was the decisive factor. Thank you for reading my rambling post, and if you leave any questions in the comments, I will answer as diligently as I can.
