The biggest change I’ve felt lately is that I no longer check my nostrils first like I did before nose surgery. Before, when I smiled, the tip of my nose looked wider and it even made my mouth look like it was jutting out too, so even my facial expressions felt subtly on my mind. Now, as the nasolabial angle has been refined, the side profile looks much cleaner when I smile too. The bridge of my nose flows smoothly without a hump, and as the swelling in the tip goes down, the sleeker shape is becoming more distinct. It doesn’t look like it was just sharply made pointy; it looks more like only the dull bulk specific to a bulbous nose was smoothed out, so even without heavy makeup, the center of my face really stands out. Especially when I put on lipstick, I’m very satisfied lol. Before, I was bothered by the way my mouth seemed to protrude forward, but since the angle from the tip of the nose down to the philtrum has changed, even my mouth line looks naturally more refined. Because it was autologous costal cartilage, I worried at first that the tip of my nose might feel too stiff, but now I feel more reassured because the shape is stably settled. There was a lot to correct from the first surgery, so I felt a lot of pressure, but I’m glad I got it done properly in one go with Director Ji Seung-ryeol. My old face was definitely still my face, but these days I look much more polished and three-dimensional, so I’m satisfied
