My lifelong complex was a slight hump on the bridge and a bulbous, blunt, and thick tip that looked like a steamed bun. Since this was my first nose surgery, I wanted to finish it clearly and beautifully in one go without any revision, so I researched a lot online and in person. Then I saw reviews and before-and-after lines from Dr. Ji Seung-ryeol at Another Plastic Surgery, and they had exactly the glamorous yet refined feeling I wanted, so I went for a consultation without hesitation. The doctor examined my nose from all angles and said we should shave down and refine the mild hump, and raise the bridge smoothly with silicone. In particular, because there was a lot of flesh at the tip and it was blunt, he pointed out accurately that the internal fat and tissue would need to be carefully reduced to make it slimmer. More than anything, even though this was my first surgery, I absolutely did not want my tip to droop later, so I decided to use my own autologous costal cartilage to secure the tip firmly. On top of that, we added correction of the nasolabial angle to lift the depressed angle under the nose, so we could make the side profile perfect too! After the surgery, as the swelling went down, I enjoyed looking in the mirror every day so much First of all, the dull-looking tip was neatly refined, and the tip became slim and sharp. Maybe because autologous rib cartilage was used, the tip feels firmly supported, and the bumpy hump became perfectly smooth. And the best decision was definitely the nasolabial angle correction. Once the angle from the tip down toward the philtrum became prettier, the mouth that had looked protruding seemed to tuck in, and the overall impression became much more luxurious! Using autologous rib cartilage for my first nose surgery was a pretty big decision, but looking at the finished line now, I think trusting Dr. Ji Seung-ryeol and going in firmly from the start was the right choice. Since the combo of a bulbous tip + hump had made me look old-fashioned, a single surgery changed my impression dramatically into something much more refined, and people around me are all asking for the hospital information.

Here’s my review of no-implant nose surgery! I decided on Avec Plastic Surgery because I was looking for a hospital that carefully looks after each person one by one rather than a factory-style or large hospital, and I’m really satisfied.
