It was a revision nose surgery, and I had gone to a lot of consultations before deciding on the clinic because they said a revision without implants was possible. After the first splint was removed, the part where the hump had been shaved looked even more prominent, so they did local anesthesia and scraped it down. I was satisfied up until year 1 or 2, but by year 3, probably because there was no implant, the area between the nasal tip and bridge looked like a hump again. They had told me at consultation that this could happen if silicone was not inserted, so I have been accepting that. Overall, compared with the disastrous first surgery, it feels much more human now, so I am about 85% satisfied.
