I had poor eyesight since middle school and wore glasses, but I hated glasses so I wore contacts every day. Still, as life went on it became so inconvenient that I went ahead with SMILE LASIK. Honestly, there are side effects like dry eyes, but since I already wore contacts, that was a side effect that existed anyway, so for me there are only advantages. SMILE LASIK had me crying and in pain for four straight hours, but after that I was fine, and once my focus came into place I even found myself wondering whether I had been wearing glasses at all. After that, it’s perfectly fine for daily life, and I think of it as a procedure that is hardly even worthy of being called surgery
