I didn't know anyone around me who had gotten SMILE LASIK, so after doing my own research on YouTube and the internet, I booked SMILE LASIK at [Clinic A]. The examinations were systematic and they checked me with various machines, which I liked. I don't know how much it costs elsewhere, but even after a friend discount, I think it was around 2,700 to 2,800 including medication. It felt expensive, but since it was my eyes I wanted to do it somewhere with a low risk of side effects, and the result was satisfying. One reason I chose this place was not only the thorough examination but also the technique that makes only a minimal incision in the eye, reducing irritation. I don't know if that is why, but after LASIK I didn't feel any pain at all (of course because it was SMILE LASIK, and maybe also because they said my corneal thickness was thick enough that I could do it once more later), and even now, two years later, my vision is still holding at 1.5. I have no regrets about getting it done at this hospital, and I am very satisfied, but since better hospitals or better surgical methods may have appeared over the past two years, I hope you research carefully before deciding.
