LASIK twice

I had surgery twice, in 2010 and 2025. The first time, I was in my 20s. I drank a lot, slept without removing my makeup, and did not use artificial tears properly. After surgery I recovered from 0.1 to 1.5, then gradually declined, and after having a baby it dropped to 0.3. I had to wear glasses all the time when driving and watching TV, so it was really inconvenient. I thought about it, went to the hospital where I had the first surgery, and said I wanted a revision, but at first they were negative about it. They said I was at the age when presbyopia would come soon, T_T but I am still in my mid-30s and it was so uncomfortable in daily life. I strongly said I wanted surgery if it was possible, and in the end they did the tests and the surgery. A repeat surgery within 10 years is free, but I had gone 15 years, and they still did it for free. I thought they would give me a discount, but this was so unexpectedly generous. I added corneal strengthening as an option and had LASIK together with it. As expected, for 3 days my eyes stung so much that I could not do anything except lie down. I used artificial tears very diligently as the director told me to. I use more than 5 single-use vials of eye drops a day. I put drops in about 3 times per vial. Even now, about a year later, I still maintain over 1.0 and still rely on artificial tears. I still increased the viscosity from 0.15 to 0.18. When I go to the ophthalmology clinic, they prescribe 3 bottles of artificial tears, and I usually finish them all within 1 to 2 months. I do not think the dry eye will get better easily. Still, I think it is better than wearing glasses or contacts, so I recommend vision correction surgery 👍🏻
