Honestly, before LASIK my vision was at the level of a severe disability, so if I did not wear glasses or contact lenses I could not even eat. Also, if I could not see, I could not hear well or taste things well either.;;;;; Since childhood I tried soft lenses, daily disposable lenses, and hard lenses, but my dry eyes were so bad that I was always tired and sleepy. My glasses were triple-thickness, but the difference between indoors and outdoors was too big and the dizziness was so severe that I could not even wear them. I also got keratitis several times and once could not see for a while. LASIK was not a choice for me; it was truly for survival. I had it done when I was young, so I just researched a bit and got it at a cost-effective factory-style clinic, but even now, after all this time, I still have 1.0 and 1.2. For reference, I got no aftercare at all, and at the time my supervisor at work was so bad with workplace bullying that I went back to work from the 4th day... Looking at the monitor made me nauseous because I really could not see properly... Still, it's pretty okay. Of course I have dry eyes and glare, but compared to the past? That's nothing. I have had almost everything done, enough to say there is hardly any cosmetic procedure I have not tried, and among all the procedures and surgery combined, LASIK is the one I am most satisfied with. My only regret is this one thing: why did I not do it sooner, seriously, that is all!!!!!!!!!
