With Today LASEK, at first I was like, wow, it has been over 2 days and my eyes sting so much, but by day 4 I was already fine. The dryness was definitely worst during the first 3 months, and after that it got better, though it was still drier than before... Still better than at the beginning. I did not have any light haloing. That was due not only to the doctor but also to the fact that my pupils were naturally very small... below average, maybe? The surgeon's skill matters too, but for light haloing, pupil size seems to matter most.
