My vision was -7.2 and -7.6, and because I wore contact lenses every day, it felt like my eyesight was getting worse at an exponential rate, so I had the surgery!! My corneal thickness was normal, but it was on the slightly thin side, so I did not have many options!! Because it is hereditary that my eyesight is bad, and I might have to do it again later, I went with LASIK, which shaves off less. I recommend doing the surgery in the evening! Go home, take your medicine, and go straight to sleep. By the next morning, there are tears until around midday? but by evening they stop. I even went to the company dinner that day lol. I did not drink alcohol, though. The pain on the first day? My eyes stung a bit, there were tears, and it was hard, so that is why they say to do it in the evening!!
