After the surgery I went home and took a 2-hour nap right away, and when I woke up I could see clearly like magic. Right after the surgery my eyes were stinging so badly that tears kept pouring out and I thought I was going crazy, but that went away right away too. Since I could wash myself the next day, going to work was totally possible too (and there was no pain), though I did take some rest because I was worried looking at a computer immediately would strain my eyes. The nighttime glare was severe for about 6 months, so driving at night was really hard. It is not completely gone even now, but it has improved enough that I can drive, and of course I still have dry eyes. Anyway, it is a surgery with no reason not to do it.
