I was a Smile Eye Clinic operating room staff member about 10 years ago. At the time, I had my surgery done at the staff discount rate. I scrubbed beside the doctor (handing over surgical instruments) and also saw the results of the patients directly, so I wanted to get SMILE with Dr. Gu too, but on ophthalmic testing my corneal shape was a bit uneven, so we took the conservative approach and did LASIK. Totally satisfied. My older sister had SMILE with Dr. Gu. It has been 10 years since her surgery, and she says it was the best decision she ever made and is very happy with it. If you are getting vision correction, do it. It is worth the money! But do not hesitate over a few tens of thousands and go to a beginner doctor; even if you have to pay a little more, choose someone experienced.I left the job almost 10 years ago now, so I have no current connection with that hospital anymore.All of my acquaintances had SMILE done by Dr. Gu.Dr. Gu is very sensitive, so working together was like walking on thin ice, but his hand skills are amazing. From the customer's point of view, it is great.I wrote this because my sister and I are satisfied, and I hope all of you turn out well too.
