Smile Pro review.. 1 year and 3 months later

My vision in both eyes was about 0.1, and I lived my whole life wearing glasses. Then suddenly glasses became so uncomfortable. I have a hobby of riding a bicycle, and when I wore contacts and put on goggles, on windy days with dust in the air, if any dirt got into my eyes it was awful.. Or when eating hot food and the lenses fogged up, or when I woke up and had to fumble around with my hands looking for my glasses, or when my son jumped around carelessly and bumped into my glasses and crushed them, it was truly painful. My father had cataract intraocular lens implantation and regretted it a great deal, so he was strongly against me touching my eyes at all. But I felt like I could not keep living this way, so after much thought I went ahead. After looking around at several hospitals, I chose Smile Pro because I liked the fast recovery and the fact that it minimized the side effects associated with PRK and LASIK. It was B & VIIT Eye Clinic, and it did feel a bit like a factory.. The waiting room was large and comfortable, but once you went inside for surgery, there were rows of sofas lined up and all the patients were sitting there with anesthetic eye drops in and their eyes closed. After the anesthetic drops, I remember being helped onto the operating table by a nurse. There was a glaring machine in front of my face, almost like I had come to a dentist, and I was told to keep looking at some red dot or something. They used a device to keep my eyes open, and while I kept my eyes open, the feeling was kind of like sewing inside my eyes? It did not hurt at all, but that is the kind of feeling it was. Something moving back and forth. And in what felt like just a few minutes, both eyes were done.. Once the anesthesia wore off, my eyes felt a bit irritated and sore, so it did hurt. It was like onions sliced with a knife, with the stinging in my eyes plus the pressure pain, but only for a few hours, and then when I slept and woke up, the whole world was clear again.. Right after surgery, you tend to scrutinize things, wondering whether it really went well. What I had in mind was that signs way over there should be crystal clear, but they were not visible, so I think I was a little disappointed (both eyes corrected to 1.2). But because I was using artificial tears every day for dry eye, even the signs I could not see before became clear. At this point, one year later, I am extremely satisfied with the surgery, and when I am not feeling well, or when I stayed up all night, or in other situations where my eyes would be tired, my vision does seem to drop a little compared with normal. Still, I am very satisfied!
