I am honestly extremely, extremely scared, and even though I have had many cosmetic procedures, the eyes felt like a whole different kind of fear. Because I was so scared, I kept putting it off and putting it off, but in the end I got LASEK because wearing glasses was just too inconvenient. At first I was thinking about SMILE, but the price difference was big and I was told LASEK preserves the most corneal tissue, so with the recommendation of people around me I decided on LASEK, which is considered relatively safe, and I do not regret it!
My eyes already had some glare, so there is a little more glare than before, and my vision is now up to around 0.9!! But my eyes are definitely very dry, so I use artificial tears often and am managing well haha. For the first two days my eyes felt like they were burning lol, but from the third day on they were fine! From day 3 I could do daily life normally, and the first two days really hurt.. I do not regret the surgery at all, and the operation time was really short, so even people who are very scared should be able to do it. If even I could do it, anyone can!!!
