I have had very poor vision since I was young, so I lived wearing huge glasses because of extreme myopia of around -8 to -9... Thanks to that, I still have glasses marks on my nose T_T First of all, this hospital is very famous for eye care, so I went there for regular checkups since I was a child! (I had strabismus when I was young.) For me, there were no choices like LASIK, SMILE LASIK, or LASEK. Because my eyesight was so bad, depending on the test results, if the cornea was thick enough it would be LASEK, and if it was thin, I could not have it done. The examination fee there was about 100,000 won separately! T_T But it is extremely professional. The surgery fee gets a 100,000 won discount for acquaintances (my mom also had it done there long ago, and recently my older brother did too). If you add up all the costs, it is somewhat more expensive than other hospitals... but I was so, so satisfied because the surgery went amazingly well. I do not think you need to go all the way to Gangnam just to get LASEK. You still have to go to the hospital 3 or 4 more times after the surgery anyway. Of course there is a bit of light glare, but being able to see well with my bare eyes feels so miraculous!! If someone around me were going to have it done, I would trust this place and recommend it.
