Side Effects After SMILE Lasik

1. When reading, my focus is off and I feel dizzy. 2. My eye function has declined. My eyes are so different from before surgery. 3. Night vision has worsened. The reduced contrast sensitivity means I can’t distinguish objects. It’s much harder to see than before surgery. 4. Motion vision has declined. I can’t see things moving quickly past me. 5. From morning until 3 p.m., no matter how many artificial tears I put in, my eyes are cloudy, and both near and far vision are severely blurry like astigmatism. I didn’t even have astigmatism before surgery, so the image quality that used to be 4K is now 240p. Frustrating. 6. Daytime light glare and indoor light glare are severe. I can understand it at night, but I don’t know why there’s glare during the day when my pupils aren’t even enlarged. Car and motorcycle headlights and taillights look distorted and burst apart. The same goes for indoor lights; round lamps spread out into starbursts and look like dandelion fluff. What a strange world. It is kind of a new world though. I’ve never seen anything like this ^^
