Worry is a luxury! I found my light!

I lived for 20 years with glasses that had been compressed three times plus circle lenses. I couldn’t even enjoy water activities properly once. After going to a pool or the beach, I would get eye infections basically every time, probably because of the lenses, and I’d also get styes two or three times a year at least On days when I couldn’t wear contacts, I’d go to work wearing thick glasses, and it was so uncomfortable. I kept putting it off, thinking I’d do it someday, and finally I did it! Ten years ago, I was examined at another hospital and was told my corneas were too thin, so the only possible surgery was lens implantation. Even back then it was so expensive that I couldn’t even consider it, and more than anything I disliked lens implantation because I found it off-putting and scary. Ten years later, through a friend’s introduction, I finally had surgery. Even if my vision was undercorrected, I just wanted to stop wearing thick glasses and contacts, and that would be enough for me. I already knew from the test results that I wouldn’t get 1.0 vision, but lately I felt that people like me who really want it end up choosing surgery even if it’s only undercorrection! After surgery, they said my left eye would reach 0.9 and my right eye 0.5! I hated both glasses and contacts, so I gathered my courage and decided on surgery. The desk staff had a vision similar to mine, and when I heard that after surgery their vision had recovered to 1.0, I knew there was no reason to hesitate anymore! I had the consultation that day, booked the surgery date, and had LASIK plus corneal strengthening surgery. Today is exactly one month later. I’m still recovering, but I’m happy because I can see better than before! Since recovery varies by person, I’m planning to check my vision again on the day I go in for the two-month follow-up. They say the third day after surgery is the most painful, but for me the first day was the worst! Seriously, worry is a luxury! Find your light as soon as possible! Thank you, director!
